Hand Surgery
Hand surgery is essentially divided into two categories: traumatic, or injury related, and elective. Plastic surgery remains at the forefront in the treatment of traumatic hand injuries. These may be the result of a work related or recreational accident, or an injury in the home.
A/Prof Gianoutsos confines his hand surgery practice to conditions below the wrist. These include fractures, lacerations, injuries to tendons, nerves, blood vessels, nail bed injuries, as well as elective conditions such as carpal tunnel release, Dupuytren’s contracture, ganglion removal and trigger finger release.
Our Procedures
Our philosophy is to treat all patients as we would be expected to be treated ourselves.
